The inspiration for this painting was light, the glow that emanates from the spirit of all living beings. I expressed it floral form this time, capturing the absolute warmth and softness as the light glows through the translucency of the petals.
We all carry this radiance within us, and more and more my work wants to express this visually, reminders of the power and pure beauty at the heart of all of us, and calling us to keep clearing out all that stands in the way of this light shining brightly.
Rumi expresses it perfectly as always: “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
