Welcome to my studio
From my studio in Dunsborough, Western Australia, I paint botanical forms that draw me in — the curve of a petal, the way a stem bends, the space between one form and another.
I’m interested in the light, colour and movement that emerge from these forms, and the magic and radiance I see flowing through the natural world.
I begin each painting with a clear sense of what I want to express, then build it through fluid layers, gestural marks, rich colour and oil paint. Familiar forms gradually loosen into something more atmospheric, spacious and expressive.
They’re made for people who love living with art — for the feeling it brings to a room, and for that special moment of recognition when you find one that feels like yours.

A Few Words on Breathless
With this painting, I wanted to capture the space between calm and exhilaration — that feeling when something beautiful suddenly catches you.
The bloom is gently abstracted, sweeping across the canvas like tidal movement. Layers of transparent colour, soft transitions and gestural oil pastel marks create a sense of movement and depth.
I love the energy in this one, particularly the aqua and oceanic tones.
