Eva Cassini is a Western Australian artist who creates oil and mixed media botanical paintings inspired by nature, light, and the landscapes of Western Australia’s South West. Her work explores the relationship between the natural world and our inner emotional landscape, using fluid colour, organic forms, and layered textures.

From Design to Fine Art

Before focusing on fine art, Eva studied graphic design at Curtin University in Perth and worked in design and publishing studios in Australia and overseas. This background continues to shape her approach to composition, balance, and colour.

Balancing Structure and Surrender

Working with water and fluid paint processes, Eva allows forms to develop naturally on the canvas before refining them with more controlled brushwork. This balance between spontaneity and structure is central to her practice.

An Invitation to Pause and Feel

Through her work, Eva aims to create pieces that feel calm, immersive, and easy to live with — artworks that invite viewers to slow down and reconnect with the quiet beauty of nature.
